12 Week Back Width Specialization
12-Week Back Width Specialization Program
Build a wider, stronger back with a focused 12-week program designed to prioritize lat development and create more of the V-taper that makes your entire upper body look bigger.
The Tim Marcus Fitness 12-Week Back Width Specialization Program isn't just a collection of pulldowns with different handles. The program is structured around the movements, angles, and progression strategies that place the lats at the center of your training while keeping the rest of your physique strong and balanced.
Throughout the 12 weeks, you'll use a combination of vertical pulling, lat-biased rowing, lengthened-position training, isolation work, and progressive overload to train the lats through their different functions and ranges of motion. Volume and intensity are progressed strategically so you're giving your back a reason to grow without simply piling on more sets.

WHO IT'S FOR
This program is designed for intermediate lifters and experienced beginners who already train consistently but feel their back isn't developing the width they want.
It's especially useful if your arms or upper back tend to take over during pulling movements and you've struggled to actually feel and progressively load your lats.
You'll need access to a reasonably equipped gym and the willingness to focus on execution rather than just moving as much weight as possible.
THE GOAL
The goal isn't simply to get stronger at pulldowns.
It's to spend 12 weeks deliberately building the musculature responsible for back width, improving your pulling strength and developing a broader upper-body silhouette.
By the end of the program, you'll also have a better understanding of how to position, load, and train your lats instead of simply doing "back exercises."
12 weeks. One clear priority. Build a wider back.
Built on consistency. Driven by intensity.
